Can NOVU build shelving in a custom size, material or colour?
Yes. Our bespoke shelving is fully customisable in dimensions, material and colour. Tell us the height, width and depth you need, plus the finish you want. Our studio will propose a design and send you a quote.
Can the shelves be freestanding or wall-mounted?
Both. We design freestanding units for open floor plans, and wall-mounted systems for boutiques and showrooms where floor space matters. Send us your floor plan or wall dimensions, and we'll recommend the best configuration for your space.
What materials and finishes can I choose for bespoke shelving?
We can produce shelving in steel, wire and metal structures, wood and MDF, and glass or stone finishes for shelf tops. Colours include black and white as standard, with custom colours on request to match your brand identity. Tell us your preferred material and we'll confirm what is feasible.
Can you make a wire shelf in the style of a Panton-type or industrial design?
We can produce open-structure wire shelving, in an industrial look, to your dimensions and colours. We only manufacture original NOVU designs and don't copy protected models. Can bespoke shelves be adapted to USM Haller systems, or work alongside them?

How much does bespoke shelving cost?

What weight can bespoke shelves hold, and how do you design for product display?
We design every system around its function: lightweight display of apparel and accessories, or heavier items such as books, objects and boxes. Tell us what you'll display and roughly how much it weighs. We then size the structure, shelf spacing and fixings accordingly, and we check stability before production.
Do you deliver and install bespoke shelving, and how long does it take?
Yes. We deliver and install on site in New York, Paris and Milan, and we can collect rental pieces after your event. Lead times depend on material, finish and complexity. For fixed-date projects such as a store opening or Fashion Week, contact us several weeks ahead.
